TCi AR-DRG Grouper

 

TCi Health Systems are one of only four companies, globally, that are contractually licensed with the Commonwealth of Australia's Department of Health and Ageing to produce the AR-DRG Grouper.

 

This software is used to group medical records, based on both clinical (diagnoses & procedures, coded in ICD-10-AM) and demographic information (e.g. age, sex, etc.), for acute hospital stays into DRGs and Major Diagnostic Categories (MDCs) for Casemix purposes.

 

DRG Manager®

 

DRG Manager® is an independent Information System for medical records, finance and quality assurance departments. It can operate in "stand alone" mode to support your Casemix (DRG), coding, quality assurance and DRG financial analysis requirements. Alternatively it can be interfaced to the hospital patient management system. Our DRG Manager® solution incorporates the AR-DRG v5.2 Grouper (as well as versions, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0 and 5.1).

 

MedPay®

 

The nature of Fee for Service (FFS) payments and associated entitlement rules is too complex to be performed manually. 

 

Automating the fee calculations significantly reduces the incidence of inadvertent under payment and over payment while enabling statistical and other forms of analysis. 

 

TCi OptiCoder®

 

DRG Manager® comes optionally with the TCi OptiCoder®. The OptiCoder® is a Coding tool developed over the last three years by TCi and the world leading ICD-10-AM coding training body (Distance and local), the Health Information Managers Association of Australia (HIMAA).
